Kagemusha
As well as the re-release IAR 81C from Special Hobby, and the IAR 80A by FFROM/Azur, we will also have the dive bomber IAR 81 BoPi also from Special Hobby. http://www.specialhobby.info/2017/08/toolmakers-busy-with-new-moulding-blocks.html?m=1 Out2gtcha

Guest Clunkmeister
I thought I had one of those Romanian masterpieces. But my neighbor wanted to build it so I need a new one.
ZachP319
Nice. Also the tease on the 1/32 whirlwind was quite nice 🙂 I had read that the cowling wouldn't close around the engine on the Azur IAR kit. I am supposing that this issue persists with the SH kit huh? Iain
Just received the I.A.R.80-A in the post today from one of the mags for a feature build. On first pass correctly features the shorter wing with different panels and 6 machine guns, slightly different fuselage etc.. Every bit as nice as the earlier I.A.R.81-C - recommended! Radu - haven't compared to your excellent book yet - but assume they're the earlier seat straps on the photo-etched sheet? This is what we thought of the Special Hobby release of the I.A.R-81C - and Radu's 'bible' on the subject. Iain florin13
Radub
Hi Iain, Yes, the straps on the P/E sheet are the early straps used until the summer of 1943. Radu
