Hi there Mango, Well,I got the Fokker Eindecker,Sopwith Camel,De Haviland bomber,Morse Scout and top of the bill...Liberator waiting to be build. The Liberator will have to wait untill one of the kids leaves gome.So I can use the extra bedroom to build it. The Nieuport that I was doing last month is ready to be painted. I haven't realy decided how to paint it yet. But it will be something typical ' WW-1 Germanlike ' sheme. Perhaps a bit like how they painted the tanks. BTW,I have a Q concerning the scale. The kit is smaller than the Fokker DrI and Nieuport . It says scale 9/16 " = 1'. What would that be in metric scale ? AFAICT it looks close to 1/24 th. Non of the kits parts were used as they were to thick and not to scale.Completely made from 3 mm balsasheet and sanded down to have fine leading edges. The struts are made from toothpicks. It says scale 9/16 " = 1'. What would that be in metric scale ? First, the scale works out to 1/21.333 If you're up for some experimenting, the lozenge pattern can be printed onto tissue and applied. Here's a link to one method: http://www.ffscale.co.uk/page4e.htm I did it to the 12" Comet Fokker D.VII pictured below by simply printing a "good enough" image file onto the tissue.
