mash3d
HI, I 'm working on a few Fw-190 A8 projects and was wondering if any one knew of the most "accurate" set of drawings for one? I have a few books with with drawings but I always wonder how correct they are. I'm always looking for good drawings on the cockpit and BMW 801 engine. Thanks, Michael
Radub
Arthur Bentley. I have seen the reseach backing his work and it is impeccable. You can order them here: https://www.albentley-drawings.com/ Radu
RBrown
I agree with Radub regarding the Bentley drawings, they are phenomenal. There are others that are also quite good and I suggest you follow this link for an example. The drawing are for an A-5 and a D-9 and not the A-8, but they are very well done. The Japanese text can be addressed with a online translator. MikeMaben and D Bellis
thierry laurent
Why do we have excellent and accurately shaped kits of the Fw-190, Do-335, Me-262, Hs-129, Mosquito, Hurricane and so on...? To me the main reason is the availability of drawings made by Arthur Bentley...! By the way, Arthur made specific A-8 drawings: https://www.albentley-drawings.com/drawings/german-aircraft/focke-wulf-fw190/focke-wulf-fw190a-8-variation/ Hth Thierry
MikeMaben
If only they sold copies in 1/32 scale. Trying to scan large drawings so you can reduce is kind of a pain. Could take them to a FedEx or Office Depot and have them do it.

I was fortunate enough to visit him in his "workshop/office" on a number of occasions and I saw his printing equipment. (It is not a desktop printer.) He showed me a chart with scales that he can print. Ask him for what you need. He has a LOT more info on the FW 190 than the drawings he created. He is one of the nicest people I ever met.
