williamj Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 Nicely done.....actually prefer the look of the Snipe over the Camel. You've done a wonderful tribute to Barker and his aircraft with this build Tom. Uncarina 1
Guest Peterpools Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Tom Aces on the Snipe - one terrific build Keep 'em coming  Peter

It was the old Revell Camel kit which drew me to building Barker's aircraft, but I'm like you in appreciating the look of the Snipe over the Camel. Tom Aces on the Snipe - one terrific build Keep 'em coming  Peter Peter, you are very kind! I certainly had fun with the build: it was my first return to WWI aircraft in several years. Cheers, Tom
Uncarina Posted August 6, 2017 Author Posted August 6, 2017 ...and yet another bucket rescue... Cheers, Tom
R Palimaka Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Wow, I just kept staring at the "woodwork" in the cockpit! So convincing, and very much like the remains of this exact aircraft at the War Museum in Ottawa. Spectacular build, and a nice tribute to a real hero. Uncarina 1
Uncarina Posted August 7, 2017 Author Posted August 7, 2017 Thanks, you are very kind! I just used oils over a Tamiya Buff base. I'm looking forward to building the matching Camel at some point. Cheers, Tom
