John F Smith Posted May 17, 2015 Share Posted May 17, 2015 The time has certainly come to thin my stash, and I'm not looking forward to it. Like Peter, I've never made any money selling kits in the past and the process is such a PITA. But having so many kits that I know I will never build feels like more a burden than it does a collection. I wish I had accumulated all of this with some sort of strategy in mind, but the truth of the matter is that I've always just bought what struck my fancy either because it was historically interesting, it filled a void in the development of an aircraft that I really like, or it was just a great kit. branchline Posted May 19, 2015 Share Posted May 19, 2015 Too many kits, not enough time left to make them all, like many need to thin the stash but still get pleasure out of 'fondling' the kits and dreaming about what might be one day, thank god hope and optimism are alive and well in my camp...
