And please forgive me for my language.  I used UH-60 instead of MH-60 DAP.   I told you, I am still learning.  Man I thought fighter planes have different varaints but nothing compares to helicopter variants.   

 

 

And no I couldn't attend last week show because I was out of town for work.   I have limited scratch building skills but thank you for the compliment.  When you have the chance to look at Rotormans build, then you will see true scratch building skills.  Thank yo for welcoming me to the forum, I hope I can represent.

Now one of the things that I notice was the gap between the fuselage area and the cabin.

 

 

 

 

 

Between the fuselage and the rear wall:

 

 

 

 

 

And the roof of the cabin to the fuselage:

 

 

 

 

So I took some steps that someone gave me while I ran into the problem on ARC.  I used styrene rod and made the floor of the cabin flushed with the fuselage:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then on the rear wall I used a piece of styrene to fill that gap:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I dry fitted the parts again:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The roof area has yet to be resolved.

Now here comes the painting process.

I am not good at painting my models and I am getting use to pre shade and post shade effects and everything else.  That is when I usually ask shark64 to help me out or to give me advice.

 

 

After applying Mr surfacer 1200 by the can to the model, I started to paint the fuselage with appropriate colors:

 

 

 

 

Then I started on the cabin floor:

Then I started on the pilots section:

 

I first painted the avionic dept below the pilots seat the appropriate color.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I started the pilots section.  In the pictures I did not leave the pilot section this way.  Since the picture I have dry coated the pilot seciton, in the picture the gloss coat is still on the section.

The pilots seats have been completed and I have applied Eduard PE seatbelts to it.  I painted the belts grey so if it is not a accurate color of the seat belts then I do apologize.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then I proceeded to paint the roof and started some individual painting by brush to the some of the wires and tubing in the roof when I took this picture.

Now the main IP. 

I started with this version but I do not like the way a PE IP looks.

I wanted to do a IP with gauges decals and paint the MFD to look real.  But in my ignorance, I sanded off the IP that I wanted to use to place the pe parts on.  

 

 

So I ended up with this:

 

 

 

 

Which isn't bad, but not my preferance.  Now since I got the MH-60s kit, the main IP that that model uses is a lot different that the one that I wanted to use for this build.  Fortunately for me, it came with a extra IP, the one that I destroyed in the first place.  Ever since that time I have replaced the main IP with this.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Much better I think.
