goldrex
Hi, Title says it all. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, P.N.
LSP_Ray
Latest? Not sure on latest but there are decals out there as well as Hobby Decal dry transfers if you can find them, Montex Masks, SAC made some white metal landing gear, there were resin wheels, JR props and spinner(?) and I believe some cockpit stuff, RB Productions seatbelts, Eduard masks, PE seatbelts and placards, and of course the old standby Waldron placards and dials. Cat_baloo
There is some resin from J Rutman. Airscale do inst. decals. Other than that, little out there. I'm trying to clear a couple design projects so I can continue what I've started on a PE suite for the cockpit. On its heels is PE for the wheel bays. The insanity began when I couldn't find anything for my Big Airfix kit. Working out the variations in the -D-5, -D-10, -D-15 inst panels is taking some effort. PE will be supplemented by inst and placard decals. Hoping for a release early 2015. Fingers crossed! I'm hanging out to build the big stuff. regards Rossky
Sparzanza
Some wheel wells would be nice for those of us who can't be bothered spending all that time measuring and cutting into plasticard... I'm talking of the Airfix kit, of course. I haven't seen the Trumpeter one but I'm just going to assume that it has wheel wells.
goldrex
Thanks guys, I chased down a few generic items and posted some stuff right here on Traders Board, and eventually, hopefully, I'll get enough pieces to match my building skills. I got this kit years ago, anticipating the P-51/1/24 "Flightpath" update set. Unfortunately, it never happened. A pity, as their products are excellent. C'est la vie. goldrex
Any leads to where one get his hands on the Waldron placard set? Roll Models don't list them anymore. TIA/P.N.
goldrex
Don't forget some etch instrument bezels and those canopy rails Cheers, P.N.
xmh53wrench
I dont do much with aftermarket stuff, but I would buy a wheel well (several actually) sets in a heartbeat. Also the instrument panel upgrade would be really nice and a good Warren MacArthur seat would be fun too. Check out my builds if you want to see a Hobby Craft and Bandai kit as well as the Airfix. http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=41927 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=38099 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=42175 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=49380 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=48873 http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.php?showtopic=40001 Good luck and have fun!
