Christian
It is a very neat build. I admire your persistence with all those bulkheads and the fuselage ribs. Nice! Matt Hi Matt, Thanks for the kind words. The work maybe neat however the dining room table is a mess with tools and plastic most night of the week. As for the bulk heads I am only 50% of the through building them. I will now concentrate on the interior again. Speak to you later, Christian

Christian
Pleasure to follow your build, Christian! You are showing amazing scratch building skills Hi Tomek, Thank you very much for the comment on my scratch building. However I am now finding some of my earlier scratch building does not fit, or out of shape or scale, hence I am rebuilding some of those parts, for example the Dust Bin machine gun turret. Kind Regards, Christian

Christian
Scratch Building Ju52 Interior Loading Area- Part 2 Hi there been busy trying to finish more of the internal cargo area. Machine Gun Dust Bin- Decided to re build the front section of the machine gun dust bin. The dust bin can fold up in if Ju 52 is landed or fold down when in flight. Images bellows Scratch built some more individual items for the cargo interior; • Internal Ladder Structure for entry and exiting the Dust Bin. Note the ladder can raise and lower into the dust bin. • Cockpit Entry Doors • Radio Operator Table • Half Bulk Head Cut passenger and cargo loading doors. Below are the before and after pictures. Below are pictures of another interior test fit Next update I will be soldering the cargo barriers. Happy Modelling Christian
Christian
Size Does Matter!!!! To give some idea of how big a 1/32 Junker 52 is ; I have taken some photos of Tante Ju next to my scratch built timber 1/32 Hs 123 A1. The Hs 123 is a little small than Bf109. 1/32 Ju 52 wing span is 880 mm and the fuselage length is 550 mm. Below are pictures of the pilot and co-pilot sitting the cockpit. They are from a 1/32 21 Century Toy Stuka Kit. The figures still have to be altered for a correct fit. Below is radio operator sitting in his chair, once again still needs to be altered. This should be fun! Still have to get my hands 2 more figures; dorsal gunner and dust bin gunner. spacewolf
Wide it is, amazingly crowded inside too !...and I would NOT have wanted to be the poor sod who had to climb down the ladder and stand in that dust bin ! Great work Christian, wonderful the amount of work you are doing and the attention to detail. Vaughn
