Koala
Watcha Jay. Great to see you're still staunchly modelling away and making many of us across the globe feel retarded about our own glacially slow projects But seriously mate... lovely work, congrats! As for me... 8 months and I'm still in the A6M5 cockpit...hope to have some pics to post up here soon and an order for Mastercasters. Most pleasing to see you're keeping on top mate. Guest LSP_Jay L
Periklis; Thanks for the compliment! K!!!!!!!!!! Good to hear from you mate! I should have written you to see how you were going, so apologies from me. I have been busier than I ever wanted to be, although that is no excuse. I can only imagine what you have been up to with that A6M5 and knowing you it will be completely kitted out in that cockpit, so I will be looking forward to seeing that. Let me know what you are after and we will organise something. Cheers and thanks for the kind words mate, Jay
The Mango Kid
Hi Jay ! Long time no see, the P-47 looks great, lovely color and weathering! Sorry that I've been so invisible the past 8 months, a lot of work and my disected thumb have keept me from doing any real modelling work lately But as autumn comes closer more time will be at hand, I have not forgotten about the figure painting tutorial you asked me about... It will be started in the near future, give or take a year or so... All the best mate ! Kris in Sweden
Derek B
Jay, Those new Mastercasters P-47 parts are beautiful. My congratulations go out to both you, and Alan, for producing these exquisitly detailed parts. I wish you luck for future sales with these parts. Guest LSP_Jay L
Hi Kris; Good to hear from you mate! I am glad to hear you are recovering from the thumb incident! That looked bloody painful! I'll be looking forward to seeing some stuff from you, and of course the figure painting article will be fantastic. Thanks Derek, I appreciate your kind words about the masters. They should be ready in a couple of weeks with any luck. Cheers guys, Jay
Juggernut
I had no idea that the RAF used jugs in the green/grey scheme. Looks very nice! ...I really don't like the dk. green/dk. earth over grey look (for the most part but there are a few exceptions) but that temperate scheme (If I got the name right) looks great! Tim Tim, Even some of the SEAC birds used the grey and green scheme. http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/350/9/0/3 I'm probably going with a heavily weathered green over brown for mine, though. As soon as I finished the razorback! Tim W.
