  1. Galland flew a 109E-3 during the Battle of France that fits the bill.
  2. I received a shipping notice this morning from Squadron.
  3. Considering it's age, there is a surprising amount of aftermarket available for this kit. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/airfix-a18002a-junkers-ju87b-2-stuka--143154 EDIT: Red Fox Studio makes a cockpit set for the Trumpy Ju 87B-2 that might be adaptable to the Airfix kit. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/red-fox-studio-rfsqs-24008-junkers-ju-87b-2-stuka--1397926
  4. My personal favorite: https://youtu.be/4iOoiEbtf2w
  5. My set arrived over the weekend (yes, there are two mainwheels included).
  6. The Gold Medal Models decals (available from Squadron) include proper stencils.
  7. That's an awful lot of photoetch for a basic kit.
  8. "P-38 Lightnings scrapped in the Philippines after the end of the war."
  9. Honest question: where would you put such a beast once it was built?
  10. It bears pointing out that the US military also saw fit to scrap an enormous mount of military hardware that had been shipped overseas rather than deal with the headaches of shipping it back to the States.
  11. FYI - The kit I was referring to was the Hasegawa 1/8 Fokker DR.I that I purchased from the Goodwill auction site. The P-47N is complete...and if anyone is wondering, not for sale.
  12. Fwiw, I pre-ordered one from Squadron for $142.99 US.
  13. You know the saying "if it seems to be too good to be true it probably is"? Turns out the IM fuselage tubing sections are missing.
  14. Found a Jerry Rutman 1/32 P-47N kit on Ebay for a song.
  15. The kit appears to be complete, with the wings and engine finished to a high standard. I grabbed it because I knew it was rare but the sheer size of the completed model makes it unlikely that I will ever finish it. If I were to offer it to an LSPer for the cost of shipping, would anyone be interested?
