folks weathering is not always...weathering. It depends from the intesity of flying and under which conditions.So somehow complicated 2 Examples: WWII: German ac at the later half of the war had little chance of surviving and had not the time to get much weathirng as they did in the first victorious part of the war. Allied ac. flew longer with more chance to get dirtier.On the other hand desert ac eg. got quick a lot of weathering and so on. post WWII: The longer the dirtier. But consider that the ac in modern times went through IRAN inspection that gave them a new amount of paint. But under war conditions again the intesity made the difference. For example HAF ac are flown many time per day even in those...."peace" times and under the greek sun and Aegean salt the colors are getting very weathered... So, weathering is something to be balanced before you put a LOT of dirt on a model. In air shows of course only clean ac are displaced....the reality is another one...

Folks first of all I would like to say a BIG THANKS to Harold (AMS resin) for his help. What I mean by that. Well I talked to Harold over 2 months ago about the difficulty I had to create proper GQ7 seats for the TF-104G in 1:18 scale He replied at once and we arrange to send him my failed 3D seat . He started now rebuild the seat most of it from scratch....well this is a unique worldwide project I think. In onther word, a great guy alert! This is your show Harold!!! here is the progress so far. I send Harold also some buckels I had from racing cars in 1:18 that he will use to make the harness.
