  1. Hi Peter! Will you have to mask the wings with tape? If so, first I would try a new primer on a piece of aluminum foil, stick masking tape and check if the primer does not break away from the surface, and only then I would paint wings. I had this problem with my Boeing, so I used metal primer first, I can't remember Gunze or Tamiya, then primer and final paint. Will Alclads not react with this new primer? I heard that they can with some. Good luck, nice work. Tomasz
  2. Hi! Thank you for so many kind comments. I realize that this project is slightly different from the others but I'm glad that it attracted so many observers. Perhaps an opportunity to meet at some modeling competition will be available. I started new project, first total scratch, but I can say only it will be Polish on this moment. On the end two photos of type nightly technical inspection. Regards Tomasz

  4. Hi Peter I have some time after the end of my project. I marked only likes in your threads so far, but now I have to express my admiration for the wonderful work you do, and this does not apply to your highest level of quality of the model, because it is obvious, but the content you give us. I treat you thread like a very good lecture and each new update is like new chapter in very good book. Your story is so addictive that readers not only express their admiration for skills, but engage and send a lot of interesting information. This should be the most important role of the forum, information exchange. Thanks to people like you, this role is fulfilling. Thank you for sharing your knowlegde, tips, technics. And we All have results as the example above. Good luck Tomasz

  6. Hi ! I never expected that this project can take me eight years. I thought about three or four years. Of course I had breakes, holidays etc., but it was about 2500 hours of work. As base I used old Hasegawa kit, but it was only excuse to start this project, the rest is scratchbuilding. My friend, Andrzej Ziober persuaded me to show this model so strongly opened. He is precursor of cutting all structure of fuselage from kit’s moldings. First step And the final Here is the link to WIP My Boeing made the first flight to Madrid on IX model contest organized by IPMS Madrid and asociation model34. It was very interesting event, very good organised with many models on high level. Boeing received three prices, thank you Jury Oro in it’s class, Best aircraft, and Special Price from IPMS Portugal for the best model of the contest. This third is especially beautifull, special thanks for members of IPMS Portugal. So now, I need to think about new project. Thank you All for watching, support and kind words. Regards Tomasz Hajzler
  7. The time has come. My Boeing is finished after 8 years and about 2500 hours of work. She is worth these efforts. It was most difficult and stresful project in my modeller's career, and the longest one of course. I'd like to thank you all for support, kind words, likes. This is the result. There will be more photos in Ready for inspection gallery soon. Regards Tomasz
  8. Marcin, congratulations. Wonderfull end of the year. She is shaining like diamond. Tomasz

  11. Thank's for comments Kevin, Peter, you are to kind, as always. What can I say about these parts? Side covers I"l be able to do in one hour now, because I have knowledge "how". The way to find out how is most difficult. I don't apprehend to make parts second, third time, because now I know that next one will be better and easier executed. See you Tomasz
  12. Hi I'm back after long time. I had to recall what was last. Sorry for so long break. I promise amendment. I read again your last comments and must say thank you. I forgot how nice it is. So return to the project. First, propeller. I reworked padels changing their shape. There were foiled next. head of propeller were totaly scrachbuilt. I decided to create this model almost naked, without skin, but it not allowed me to omit these elements. Before painting Some of them after painting Special place for these parts. First, bottom cover of carburator, vacuformed and cut to shape. Two side covers of the engine with ventilation gaps. It took me month to invent how to do and of witch. I made them from 0.12mm plastic foil and shaped gaps using toothpick. That's all for now. Nice watching. Tomasz
  13. Hi All I'd like to invite you to follow extraordinary project on youtube. Author of this undertaking, my friend, Andrzej Ziober asked me to send link to his account on you tube. I have done it with great pleasure. He decided to create the smallest replica of PZL 37 Łoś in 1/144 scale. As a base he took set from 1970's, it looks like a toy. He will try to change it in masterpiece, I'm sure he can. Film is in Polish, but I think that pictures are most important. Andrzej promised to prepare one film a month, this is first part. Nice watching Tomasz This is the link:

  18. Hi Kent I'm glad you reworked this window. Very good effect, congratulations. Regards Tomasz
  19. Very nice effect. Maybe not the same as on the picture. But what about window above twenty. There is big one on the model, not so small like on the picture. It's risky business to show fotos of original. All work very impressive. Regards Tomasz

It will not be a piece of cake, specially center section of top wing but I have no choice. It can take me week maybe two but it's nothing compare to more than five years of work. This man, Roy Rehm, has made awesome restoration of e few Boeings. Here link to film on youtube from his kingdom: Regards Tomasz
