thierry laurent
Hello Menelaos, Try to find a jeweller's beading tool. A set has normally 24 different diameters. The larger ones shall be OK for 1/18th scale. Look here for one example: http://www.esslinger.com/stonesettingtools.aspx However, keep in mind that the tool is not comparable to a riveting wheel: each rivet shall be made individually! Martinnfb
I've got mine beading tool for fraction of that price from ebay. If you wish to use riveting wheel John Vojtech sells them. Martin

automaton
could anyone please help me..where I can find something like that in the web? I have the Trump rivet maker, but it's still too small (>1:32...) TIA Hi Menalaos, my recommendation for 1:18 scale would probably be either a #6(.55mm) or a #7(.6mm) beading tool. About this beading tool. Is it the sort that does flush rivet detail? Chris Here's a pic of rivets made on a 1/32 model with a #1 (.30mm) beading tool: And here's what one looks like (the tool with wooden handle being held by the extra hands in this pic): It's a laborious process, but I don't know of any better way to protray flush rivets.
