Guest Smitty44
Not a crash though, #7 was taxiing in and a gust of wind flipped it over. Not too sure why they were flying in that weather though. Out2gtcha and RNoAF

Agreed. That's why I referred to it as an incident instead of crash. Still, it is another expensive stumble. Thankfully no lives were lost. Hawkwrench
I live in Cincinnati which is about an hour south of Dayton and it has rained and stormed most of the day today. They have cancelled Saturday's performance and they've not made a decision about Sunday. Bummer, cause I'm heading up there to the show in the morning. I'm glad no one was hurt. Planes can be replaced, people can't! Tim Edited June 24, 2017 by Hawkwrench CANicoll
mgbgtv8steve
Glad to see that the 2 occupants were ok! Hope and pray that this won't impede the Thunderbirds visit to Fairford for the International Air Tattoo 14th. to the 16th. July!! Really looking forward to seeing then again. Regards, Steve S. Hawkwrench
It looks like the Thunderbirds will not be performing on Sunday either. Just saw it on a Dayton news website. The pilot of the jet that crashed is not out of the hospital yet according to the news. Tim
