A week ago I was given a 1/48 J 33 Venom decal sheet. There is no 1/48 J 33 Venom kit. Bummer. In my stash there was a completely useless Classic Airframes Venom FB.4. Thinking. Would an Aeroclub Vampire NF nose fit?

Well, yes, it did. Problem is, SQUIRREL!, when I went through the Aeroclub boxes I found the empty Sk 28C Vampire shell. Forgotten about that. Must have a look.

And here we are. Sk 28C nose complete with two hacked up white metal ejection seats as nose weight and wings glued.

This made me think of all started kit I have.

Going through parts of the stash I find this:

DSCN5657.jpg

Monogram P-51D

Trumpeter Spiteful F.14

Roden Gladiator

Airfix Spitfire XIX

also participating, in various stages of awesomness, in this GB arrrrre...

Trumpeter Vampire FB.9 or was it a Mk.1, or...Ok, the FB.9ish. Ignorance is bliss. Which is why I find the RC flying field kind of relaxing. He: "Is that a Spitfire?", Me: "No, that's a Mustang"

Monogram P-38 (version? who cares, it's only a P-38)

Monogram RF-101B

Monogram F-105D

Monogram A-26B

Monogram F-84F

Monogram Canadair Sabre

Hasegawa Ar 234B-2

Tamiya Do 335B the French post war thing

probably more that has yet to be discovered.

should be easy to fix. Just build them and prime them. Leave painting for later.

Mmmm yeah unless something more interesting fly by...

A pregnant Spitfire!

Oh, I found more fun stuff!

Will probably trash the resin Planet Models 109Z. Resin (hardener, actually) fumes (wet sanding doesn't help there) makes my lungs go crazy nowadays. First PM with a good argument why you should have it gets it for free, if I can find the rest of the parts? Box, parts and new owner found :)

The very nice Arba Bf 109G-12 aaaalmost there...and the Bf 109F prototype almost ready for paint.
