LSP_Kevin
Hi Kevin. I picked up Mr Surfacer 1000 but the LHS does not stock the thinner,is there an alternative? Richard. Tamiya's lacquer thinner, in the bottle with the yellow cap, is pretty much the same stuff I believe, and may be easier for you to find. https://www.tamiyausa.com/items/paints-finishes-60/finishing-supplies-62000/lacquer-thinner-250ml-87077 If you get some, try it on a small, out of the way place first, just to make sure it has no adverse affect on the bare plastic. MikeMaben
Hi Kevin. I picked up Mr Surfacer 1000 but the LHS does not stock the thinner,is there an alternative? Richard. I've always used 91% alcohol to thin Mr. Surfacers. The 70% doesn't seem to work as well. Give it a try. Tinbanger
