cbk57
This is a quick build. I wanted to try some metal finishes and I have been a long time F1 fan. I really love the 1960's and 1970s F1 cars. Lot of work already done in the last two weeks and will finish this one fast. plane_mc

scvrobeson
This kit is out now? I've been waiting for the Tyrrells to come out for a long time. Such cool looking cars, with some wonderfully advanced aero suites. Matt
TonyT
I drive past this everyday, it's a couple of miles from home. http://www.donington-park.co.uk/about-donington/the-donington-grand-prix-collection/
cbk57
I only wish. I have been to the Indy 500 a few times but never an F1 race. I know they don't race at Donington anymore but what a place to visit.
TonyT
They still race but not.F1, they do everything else such as world super bikes etc, you can even run your own car on some days. There is more F1 in the States these days, I have watched the Indy, but prefer F1 than just a big oval track. I think it adds to it. Btw do not look at this link, it could seriously destroy your wallet, the White one is the 1/2 scale 2015 development vehicle http://cal.cagp.com/event/marussia/ Edited December 6, 2014 by TonyT

Between this auction, and Senna's first car coming up, it's an expensive time for F1 fans. Would be cool to say you own an F1 car. Wonder if they're selling the 2014 cars as well? The ones in the first pictures are the 2012 model. Matt
TonyT
Yes, everything, the 2012 one is the display one in the entrance to the building i think, the white one on the table is the 1/2 scale prototype for the 2015 car! No engines in them though... even the pictures on the wall are cool. Edited December 9, 2014 by TonyT

scvrobeson
Really like the work. Those Tyrrell cars were really interesting designs and tech. Glad that Ebbro has gotten these kits out. Matt
