Brad-M
Guys, So which set would be appropriate for a Coastal Command Mossie? http://www.modeldesignconstruction.co.uk/mall/departmentpage.cfm/ModelDesignConstruction/_54288/4/32nd%2520Scale TIA Brad
Guest
I would think any of the three would work. I'm sure more will know more.......Harv
Darren Howie
Avieology are releasing a double stack set for coastal command Mossies. Due out about now. They look excellent and I'll definitely be grabbing a set for a Banff a Strike wing bird. They had to stack the rockets so they could still carry 8 and carry in tanks for the range etc. Edited October 15, 2016 by Darren Howie

I believe they're also including the guard rails for the drop tanks and rocket fins. However, there are no rockets provided. I've got the Aerobonus rocket set for my build. It includes the SAP1 warhead that's shown on the Aviaeology decal instructions for the Coastal Command Mossies. Hope that helps, Carl
Brad-M
Darren, I have asked them what they are providing, and it's only the PE parts. You are expected to source the rockets and the rails from other means. Brad
Anthony in NZ
Oh really? I ordered a couple of sets thinking they included the rails.....darn
Darren Howie
Thanks for the info guys I got the impression they included other stuff as well. Looks like I'm not the only one to.. Thanks for clearing that up! Lucky I have a couple of sets of aerobonus 60lb rockets which don't look to bad. Hopefully Master may come good with some to... Darren Howie
Yep reading the pre prod stuff you do get rails you supply the rockets. http://myemail.constantcontact.com/EtchSentials-----New-Aviaeology-P-E-parts-15--off--launch-offer-----3-Days-Remaining.html?soid=1105493007759&aid=PUm_ORSBgp4 Anthony in NZ
BloorwestSiR
I've just ordered the Profimodeler rockets so I'll see how they compare to the Aerobonus and MDC ones I have. Here's the Aerobonus rocket with the SAP 1 warhead on it. Carl Edited October 17, 2016 by BloorwestSiR Anthony in NZ
Brad-M
What's missing from all of these sets with the exception of MDC are the stubs to mount the rails on. Brad Edited October 17, 2016 by Brad-M
Guest
I noticed on the link to rails, the pic they have shows rockets with the thinner armor piercing heads. I think MDC is the only one to carry them plus they have the mounting Stubbs.....Harv
Anthony in NZ
Brad I emailed them at the time of pre order and from my understanding they have included an etch top and bottom piece for the stubs that the modeler has to put plastic card between...I think that is correct
