HL-10
This is my first scratchbuild attempt. It is a balsa frame covered in P-38 car repair putty, Milliput, and Mr Surfacer 500. Fine tuning of the shape with SDquadron Green putty. Fins and wings are from perspex.

Jack
Angelo, looking very good, but the best part of it is that you had and are still having fun building it, isn't that a fact??? Scratchbuilding is THE way learning about your possibilities, your potentials in modeling and much, much more...... Happy "scratching......" HL-10
Hi, thanks for all the comments! You're right Jack, lots of fun Tim you can get Steve Austin, but it will require some assembly I'm trying to format some more pics, having some trouble. Hope to get them on soon. Thanks again, Angelo

HL-10
This project has been on and of for over a year. Still having trouble with the shape of the nose, hence Green Putty every where! Still having fun, just
HL-10
Here are a few more pictures. These are the cockpit and ejector seat, in the real thing a modified F-106 seat, here an Airfix Harrier seat dressed up to look like a 106's seat. The only reference picture for the cockpit was of the left console. The rest is based on the Collectaire's kit and images from a flight sim. There are a couple of websites that are about ejector seats and they provided excellent references.
