To your color question: I saw a restored Zero in a Flight Magazine. It was an inflight pic and the sun shines onto the fuselage. The green is satin mid-green with a splash of blue , a droplett of matt mid-green folowed by a smudge of matt varnish adding a smitter of white to finish it of.
