Hi Erwin,

 

that looks real good!! And very fast too...

To your color question: I saw a restored Zero in a Flight Magazine. It was an inflight pic and the sun shines onto the fuselage. It seems to be (if i remember correctly), that the green had a very very light brown shade...

Lee,

Are u sure u want to do a wooden kit.I guess the wooden bug has spread from erwin's workbench to u'er spaces unknown.Norm told me u don't have the time.Or are u slacking off the job these days.And by the way.That bowl weavle bites real deep when it comes to woden models.I've had mine since the mid 50's.Larry

Painting is done...

 

The green is satin mid-green with a splash of blue , a droplett of matt mid-green folowed by a smudge of matt varnish adding a smitter of white to finish it of. ;)

 

Oh...nearly forgot...stired,not shaken.
