Derek B
Derek, When you decide to go ahead with the 50 gal Spitfire symmetrical center line tank and Harrier II 100% LERX, let us know. I have the model kits which could use them. Mike Valdez Sierra Hotel Models Mike, Sounds like you have the F-16 pretty well wrapped up - good luck with them. The Spitfire 50 gal tank is a definate, as I am already working on a centre line bomb carrier which uses the same mountings. If and when I can get my hands on a Trumpeter Harrier kit, I will seriously look at those LERX (as well as other areas), so I'm [pretty sure that I shall make them - is there any accurate data out there for the 100% LERX? A340 Pilot
I read somewhere that Trumpeters late model P-38's have an issue regarding the shape of the props. If this is true, then maybe a set of correct blades/props? Stein Edited October 23, 2011 by A340 Pilot

Is there anything else that is required for the Trumpeter P-38 that is not already provided by anyone else? The shape overall is great and the kit on the whole is WAY better than any other option including the Revell......leaps and bounds better..............except the props. Which is why I believe people were snatching up old Revell props I know at one point Jerry made a correction set. I have not seen nor heard anything on it in a while......Jerry? If Jerry's set is still OOP, Id say it would be a VERY welcome addition, as its one of those things for the P-38 needed, that I dont have. pacificmustang
Derek, are you still thinking about doing a set of extended flaps for the Revell hawk? early seats would be nice too, although maybe not a big seller Bruce

Derek B
Once again, thank you all for your ideas and suggestions for EMD products - they are all very valuable to me. I now have plenty of ideas to consider. Some of them are certainly medium/longer term/complex/costly ideas, but probably will be welcomed by those modellers who specifically really want an example in their collections, so will most likely be limited in numbers and priced accordingly (these will be chiefly conversion sets - major and minor). Other items will be more general nature (mostly accessories) and may or may not be similar to items already available out there, but I do try not to replicate similar or identical products if possible (getting ever more difficult with new companies coming on line every day!). As the time is right, one or two complete resin kits may also be released, but again, these may be limited in numbers/costs, unless they are particularly good sellers, then a re-run will most likely occur. I am always delighted to hear your ideas and thoughts, and after all, everything I do is ultimately for your benefit, so please feel free to contact me any time with your continued considerations. Many thanks Derek
Derek B
OK Brian, I'll ask Jerry if he is still doing them, and if not, I'll look at them. Cheers Derek I checked in with Jerry on this one and he did indeed make a set of corrected propellers for the Trumpeter P-38 a couple of years ago. I think that if you ask Jerry (and Tim at Grey Matter figures) necely, they may add them to the GMF aviation range...if there is the demand there for them, of course.
