gunfighter366
Sorry, Bill that should be his son. My typing needs much improvment.
Bill Cross
Thanks, folks, nothing could make me happier than letting the world know about his service. Pity that there isn't a modeling way to talk about his supply work in Saigon, but the tail is as important as the tooth. I did build his tank in Korea. Bill Cross
Thanks, Alain. Weathering properly is always a struggle to "get it right."
alain11
Thanks, Alain. Weathering properly is always a struggle to "get it right." Hi that determining if a paint job is " alive " or "flat" ,and the ability to catch your eye it's a struggle for me too , if not a " brain storming" too much ?....or not enough ????????????????????? Bill Cross
Folks, at the urging of a modeling friend (Georg Eyerman of Decalomaniacs), I entered the plane in the local model club contest and did all right: 1. gold medal for aircraft 2. best aircraft 3. people's choice 4. judges "best in show" Thanks to NJ Historical Miniatures Associates (NJHMA). And this one's for you, Pop. Thanks for the year your gave in Saigon (and the year in Okinawa, the year in Korea and the Purple Heart on Saipan).
