Gene
And there it is with the 3 base colors established. Next, some chalk weathering, decaling and final assembly.Every once in a while a product comes out that makes one wonder how we survived without it before. I know everyone on this site has used this product, but it was my first experience using Tamiya's masking tape (on the demarcation of the upper and lower camouflage). What a fantastic product - very clean crisp lines and no paint lift - and how fun it is to remove and see the result you wanted!
Ian Aylmer
That looks incredible, all the extra work sure is paying off big style. Really well done. Can't wait to see her finished. Ian
Gene
It is down to the last fiddly bits and the struggle to apply more pieces than I break off! With any luck and patience I'll post the final shots later this evening. Martinnfb

Ian A
Great looking Harrier Gene! More a prop guy myself, but I've a weakness for Hunters and Harriers. Probably the Sydney Camm thing. Anyway-good job.
Gene
Thanks Kagemusha and Ian! It was really a nice challenge with its ups and downs, but in the end gave some satisfaction of build. The Harrier is a fascinating aircraft - hope Trump gets their AV-8B out soon!
Ian Aylmer
Gene, Really nice work! Looks incredibly impressive. I pick up my Harrier GRMk.7 tomorrow, Hasegawa. Great job. Ian
Gene
Thanks Ted - glad you enjoyed the thread. It was a fun build; didn't get too exotic with the detailing, but just enough to let it sit alongside some Tamiya type OOB jets. There is so much more one can do - and so little time!
