Loic
Well, Paul, releasing a detailling set is more or less the target But if we can do it before Tamiya next release, that will be even better

Loic
Thanks Roger ! I see from your avatar that you may like Corsairs ... I intend to build mine to depict one of VMF 214 aircrafts (still need to decide which one thought). Thanks for looking in !

LSP_Ron
Are you planning on leaving the cowl panels off Loic? I ask because there is zero margin for error in the cowl flap ring, kit supplied engine mount and length of the engine assembly itself. Looking great though! Guest Peterpools
Loic Awesome .... sure wish I had half your talent and totally agree with Paul. Keep 'em coming Peter
Loic
Many thanks guys ! it is much appreciated I have seen what you have experienced in your own build Ron. I plan/intend to propose all 3 panels as separated spare parts in the kit so that everyone can choose his own configuration. Some more progress: we have carburator ! And this is how it fits to the main part (but will be supplied as 2 parts): Now, it is time to work on the rearmost area of the compressor (ancilaries) Thanks for following ! Anthony in NZ
Loic, you are amazing......or crazy I haven't decided yet! Either way, count me in if you get someone to cast all of that! Cheers mate Anthony
Loic
Thanks a lot guys, Peter, many thanks. On my side, I envy your painting skills Anthony, many thanks too. The casting is most likely to happen indeed so it is good to know there is some interest in such a kit Well, here is the basic shape of that rear part of the engine Still needs detailling ... Loic
Hi guys, my wife was away on business trip for a few days so I have had plenty of time for modelling in the evening this week... so we have an other update tonight Detailling the rear part: lots of nuts and bolts in the area ! More details to be added and hopefully this engine will have a complete compressor unit by the end of the weekend ! As usual, any comment's welcome Edited February 6, 2014 by Loic airscale
airscale
Loic this is just a masterclass.. ..my absolute favourite builds are when this happens and lots of scratched details are added - particularly when they are to a world class standard like this ..even better that you will be making an AM set from them as I am keen to learn how you go about doing that thanks again & tuned in for life..
