smokeriderdon
OK, I looked and saw some stuff about the Legend cock pit and other stuff for the new tool 4E. BUT, my question is, are any of the products including intakes, PE etc workable for the OLD TOOL 4E?
Kagemusha
If you take a look through the Ready for Inspection section, there's a very nice Turkish F-4E built from the olde Revell kit, now I remember also a WIP, I'm on my phone so no links from this Luddite, but I recall some AM being used. thierry laurent
No AM was made for the old kit. Nothing is impossible but as the two generations of Revell Phantoms have noticeable design and shape differences, this will not be easy to 'recycle' AM for the 2ng gen kits on a 1st gen one. Oldbaldguy
I think I did that already. Just another exercise in problem solving. That, and a big enough hammer. Royboy and thierry laurent
smokeriderdon
I bought the intakes before I thought about it. LOL I was thinking maybe the PE for the cockpit would be workable and I have a set of resin seats that ought to work. And thank you for the welcome! Mark B.
Hey SmokeriderDon, There actually was a PE set for the OLD Revell F-4E/F/J and RF-4B/E kits, from an outfit called FotoCut. it was called Canopy Seals & Gaskets. It included PE for the edges of the canopies, windscreen, center arch between the cockpits and the cockpit seals on the edges of the cockpit. It also had some instrument bezels as well as the structures ant the rear of the canopies. And the best part is I actually have this set. PM me if you are interested. I forgot that one in spite of the fact I got one (thirty years ago...?). Fred was really a pioneer..
