You could even simulate the effect with magnets in the base! Close to twenty years ago I saw a terrific small scale large diorama of the Star Wars Death Star final battle with the X-Wing and Tie fighters hovering in the 'air'! This was done with a clever design of low voltage electricity and magnets in the spaceships! Incredible!

Or use hi tech nylon monofilament and some drawing pins :clap2:May the force be with you an' all that . 

 

When they land dont the wings fold up ? Also where are the bombs going ?
