machine_marty
Hi all, please see my completed Tamiya 1/12 Yamaha YZF-R1. Built out of the box. Drilled out brake discs and used Zero paints with 2K clear coat. She still needs a number plate but other than that she's done. A first motorbike for me and it won't be the last J.J., The Madhatter and Greg W
The Madhatter
Whoah!! Im not a bike fan but of you took pics of that outside, it would pass for the real deal. That is awesome! machine_marty

Is it hand painted? Brilliant. yes I agree if you had outdoor setting it would definitely look like the Real Yamaha. Thank you both Yes, it is hand painted (well, using an airbrush anyway). It turned out better than I had hoped for. Zero paints are superb to use and are very forgiving.
monthebiff
Nice! Really like the Tamiya bike kits, love the MotoGP bike kits with an added splash of Studio 27 etc! Regards. Andy machine_marty
