Mig ammo acrylics

Monty Python

Recommended Posts

I had several attemps to water based acrylics like MiG or AK paints (i even bought a lot of sets), but i'm not a fan. I definitely prefer the alcool based acrylics. WIth water based, i always have clogging issues, and i really struggle to find the correct dilution (always too thick or too thin), whereas it's never been an issue with Gunze or Tamiya.

However, the colors usually looks great, though some may be a bit surprising, especially for AFV's. But i guess they are base colors, designed to be weathered, so it may not be anormal that they look weird straight out of the bottle.

But it must only be me, as many of us use them without any issue and like them.

I used the Mig paints to paint my Kfir and they went down smooth as silk. I also use mostly MIG Gray and Black primer and just love the stuff
