Hello Chuck, great start and fast progress on this old beast. If I may to note a little mistake that can be still fixed Those tho teardrop shaped coves on the underbody of the centre section should have parallel orientation to the line of flight .

Here is a blueprint that can explain what I mean. Also check the location of the panel lines.

Thanks Martin, re the tear drops yes i was also informed by another person, I had realised what I had done earlier, serves me right for not paying attention. So out scalpel it will be. We are away for 10 days so will return after the family break.

 

Thanks all for all the positive comments, I do doubt my ability. I returned back to the hobby about two years ago after a break of  30 or so years. LSP and Britmodeller have inspired me tremendously. I am doing a 1/24 Zero for another forum however will post up on here once I start that build.
