otis252 Posted May 28, 2016 Share Posted May 28, 2016 In the same boat, I can get the -3 Clear Edition at my LHS, but always wanted to do a -5, if that's all there is I'll take the plunge on the -3. silver Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 The kit is great but cutting the clear large parts require some skills to avoid stress features which will show up.I constructed one with one side clear only.I painted just a little over the joining areas of the fuselage joint points.That leaves you with room to work with during construction. LSP_Ray Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 FYI, if you find a parted out kit on eBay from one of the sellers that sells individual sprues, the fuselage is the same between the -3 and -5, so you can pick up a 'normal' grey plastic fuselage for pretty cheap and make it a lot easier to deal with.
