richdlc
Hi - to reiterate what others have said (and to add a few of my own) - these are really nice books. However, I've held them, looked through them & researched them online, and they have been consistently good sellers because of their quality - these are just the ones I've sold personally, I'm sure there are many more. Artful69
Wings & Wheels Publications are worth an investment; "Czechoslovak Spitfires in detail" ISBN 80-86416-22-4 is more of post-war history book, but "Spitfire LF.Mk.IX in detail" ISBN 80-86416-25-9 is packed with detailed colour photos of museum aircraft. Aero Detail books are also useful, also in colour, but don't, whatever you do, trust their drawings. Edgar Hi Edgar ... I had a flick through a Googled list of W&W ... but I was unsure of the exact books to look at? ... If you've seen Classic Publications FW-190, Ju-88 etc etc ... thats the sort of format that I'm chasing ... either one whole volume or multiple volumes covering, either periods, or Mks all from one publisher ... thierry laurent
Interesting! I had a quick look at this thread. At least, this shows in detail why one may have mixed feelings about this book! AndersN

Artful69
... Rich ... I need your help on this one, indeed, if it is at all possible ... My bookstore retailer has advised me that their supplier has been out of stock of the Classic Publications Ju88 Vol.1 for some time and they are not likely to be in stock in the foreseeable future ... so I googled Classic Publications - and got Ian Allen Publishing - who's website showed none of the Classics books = confusing!! ... a couple of international phone calls have lead me to the following: * Crecy Publications have taken over the management of selling Classic Publications books from Ian Allen * Crecy have advised me that it appears that the book is now out of print!! Any chance you can have a quick scrounge around for this one for me? Rog Edited June 25, 2014 by Artful69
