rohan
Can anyone tell me if the inside bottom section of the wing where the flaps and slats extend from on a Tornado is bare metal? Anyone got a pic of the inside of the bottom wing of a tornado with the flaps and slats extended? Cheers, Rohan
Zero77
Not easy to see.... I'd say it is grey or white (primmed). NMF is quite uncommon on modern jets, even for hidden areas. In this one we see that it is a very light shade, maybe white or NMF : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0f/RAF_Tornado_F2.JPEG Edited October 9, 2013 by Zero77
flounder_al
It's the same colour as inside the undercarriage/airbrake/spoilers/lox/equipment bays. Sort of an off white colour
rohan
Is it possible it varies from country to country? I wouldnt think it does. Is it also possible its a different colour on the F3s to the GR1/IDS?
