Fighter Jock
I just finished my Revell Arado Ar 196A-3 floatplane in 1/32 scale I decided to try a water dio with it. I put a small pager motor in it to spin the prop the water is painted aluminum foil. The base is an up side down picture frame with the battery compartment under the water. mattlow
Nice one. Spinning prop adds a lot to the dio! Are the crew in the kit? Matt
Fighter Jock
Nice one. Spinning prop adds a lot to the dio! Are the crew in the kit? Matt Thanks Matt, no the plane dose not come with the figures the seated pilot is from Master Details their Luftwaffe Fighter Pilot it came with four different heads. The standing figure is from Nemrod a US WWII Navy pilot that I've had for a while I just converted it to the Luftwaffe by using one of the extra German heads. big matt
Great job. I really like the life the scene gets from the figures. Nice presentation.
dodgem37
Really, really good work. I second Matt. Flaps down and everything. Sea worn weathering. Good job. Sincerely, Mark Edited July 6, 2011 by dodgem37
Fighter Jock
Thanks for the kind words every one I have always wanted to do a seaplane diorama with a spinning prop and when I saw Revell's Arado I said that's the one. I wish some one would do a 1/32 Grumman Duck that's another one I would like to build. Edited July 6, 2011 by Fighter Jock
