Wolf Buddee Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Wolf, INCREDIBLE & STUNNING Tamiya Spitfire.. It is STAGGERINGLY SUPERB and I would LOVE one just like that. :clap2: I can drool OVER THIS SPITFIRE all day and evermore , its that AMAZING. KUDOS...  Very true Maru, this model is simply top notch . I never miss the chance to have a closer look, just marvellous . The Mossie is going to be even better methinks Thank-you Maru and Martin, I have to admit that when I look at the final photos in this thread, I feel a bit underwhelmed with the weathering on this model. While it's true that this aircraft was realitively new as depicted by my model (she was only about a month old) the weathering looks too light. George Beurling was also very particular about who worked on his plane as well so,it was kept quite tidy. It's funny though, because when I look at it on my self it doesn't appear quite as clean as in the pics. Next time I'm going to have to use a bigger can of general schmutz and chipping. I'll do that for sure on the Mossie! Cheers, Wolf
Ironwing Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Never get tired of looking at this, not so much for the model, but, moreover, the skill and masterful craftsman which, brings it it to life...beyond stunning. Geoff
