LSP_Kevin
However, I'm thinking about throwing-in-the-towl, leaving my motor and prop the way they are now, and just call my project: "The Bulldog Replica". If it makes you feel any better mate, that's probably what I would do too. Kev
Wiggy
If it makes you feel any better mate, that's probably what I would do too. Kev Hey Man, thanks for that. Problem is: I set-out to build an accurate Bulldog in it's ORIGIONAL form. I don't think that's setting the bar too high. I think my research work needs some research! I must need professional help! I've had to rework this motor twice now. They say "third time is the charm". I pulled the nine plug wires, the ignition ring and the oil line. Wiggy
OK, This is it. This is the last time I rework my plug wires. I used my moto-tool to create the R1340 depressions around the crankcase. Back in the prop shop, Quarter Scale Wiggy

Wiggy
The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! The PROP is finished! With help from my good friend Peter, I finally got my brain wrapped-around this damn propeller from 1932. Removed ALL the previous fiddle-de-bits and scratch-built new fiddle-de-bits. This is as close as I can get to the "correct" adjustable pitch contol. My propeller is as finished as it's going to get. I managed to mask-off the R1340 crank case and spray some clear gloss for a little shine. I brushed the pushrods with some gloss top coat to better match those early photographs. Progress can be a beautiful thing. Out of the prop shop, Quarter Scale Wiggy
