  1. Really liking the look of this kit and I’m glad I put in a preorder. Also happy to see that other versions can be built from what’s in the kit. I’m thinking of eventually doing mine in Italian Air Force colours or another Foreign user of the type.
  2. From memory one of them is they only put the cannon shell ejection chutes on one side of the lower fuselage. I only had the kit briefly before selling it on so don’t really remember any others, possibly something engine related.
  3. I too was trying to enquire about some sets that they had showing as in stock and getting no replies. I noticed that the site hasn’t been updated since 2019 or something like that. I did a bit of further Google searching and it seems the owner of the site was either ill or passed away and it would seem to be one of those cases where it was a one person operation and nobody else knows any of the passwords for the site so its a Zombie website until the domain lapses.
  4. I've decided against using the Aires Gear Bay. Have to stop throwing money at these projects somewhere. Tamiya kit arrived today, along with a Tamiya Strike Eagle that somehow ended up in my order too.
  5. Probably the best way if you don't want to order over the £135 threshold is to find someone else contemplating and order and club together. Or if you have a Stateside contact have it shipped to them and they can post it onwards to you.
  6. As great a reference I’m sure that would be, shipping costs 4 times more than the magazine.
  7. I have time. Talent no, time yes.
  8. Well I’ve just taken a pair of Tamiya F-15s in to the stash so if you could do the same thing for those I’ll be sending more money your way (make that Polish F-16 tail first though ). There will be an order coming once the F-16 plugs are ready. I’m sure there’s many more things on my wish list….
  9. Just in case you haven’t got enough work to keep you busy and because I keep dreaming up builds and buying some parts for them before realising that not all parts for that project are available, how about a Parapack tail for the Polish F-16 for the Tamiya kit? I see some resin versions but they don’t have all the lumps and bumps (RWR/ECM things)? And most of what is available needs splicing with the Tamiya part anyway. https://www.airplane-pictures.net/photo/1246945/4071-poland-air-force-lockheed-martin-f-16c-fighting-falcon/ There’s no rush
  10. Something happened. Let us blame working night shifts for the first time in 2 and a bit years. I was ordering the Tamiya kit for the Aggressor project and decided I want a Polish Air Force Single seater with those CFTs so 2 kits were purchased. Ooops. Hopefully Techmod Decals have improved since I used them last as they seem to be the only game in town for a regular line jet and not a special scheme. In Aggressor news though, I am going for the Black and White splinter scheme so that I can use the kit intake and exhaust as its a Block 30, and according to serial numbers its the second jet (86-0263) in the Block 30 Line to have the MCID intake, the serial number before it being the start of the MCID in the Block 30 jets(86-0262 being the first and I believe is a miG killer). The TwoBobs sheet offers 86-0263 (the second MCID Block 30 I referred to) and 86-0314. I don’t know which of the two I will build but I am at least decided on a scheme! So Pete, if you read this can you back up my theory that I can use the kit stuff to make a Block 30 and just need to use the Lightweight gear and doors? NSI intake and relevant exhaust that I had ordered already will now be shifted to my Polish Viper project.
  11. You’re retiring. Behave. I’ll have moved house pretty soon and I’m not telling you where the new place is!
  12. Yes. I have Jim working on some custom masks for another couple of kits. He doesn't do decals for the BDU scheme. I'll be getting the masks for the BDU in the hope I can source the decals for it and for the Blue Splinter scheme which I'll get the decals for now whilst they are available. This project is a long way off from being started so maybe someone will release more Aggressor decals in the meantime.
  13. Step 2 through to step putting it all away in the stash has been completed. I’m going for the Blue Splinter scheme as I just cant find the decals for the BDU splinter. Intake, lightweight gear doors and lightweight gear has been ordered from BNA model world who carry the KASL stuff (would have bought direct from KASL but BNA had some other stuff in stock I want and postage is reasonable). Tamiya Block 50 Kit on the way as are the Crossdelta fuselage plates. Reskit wheels and exhaust ordered direct from Reskit with several other sets for other stashed kits. Funds very much depleted. So you can now fully expect Tamiya to release a full on 1/32 version of the 1/48 Aggressor all in one kit.
  14. I’m probably wrong but weren’t the PRU Pink ones Mk.IX anyway? FR.IX? They were armed. Just need some of Pastor John’s Monotone Spitfire Decals and the camera port fashioning in the Radio hatch door area. He also has a set of cameras should you wish to put one in the bay. It’s what I will be doing when the time comes anyway. But I’m lazy.
  15. Absolutely! One for the exhaust too. Incredible stuff.
  16. Seamless Eagle intakes next please Or at least some intake and exhaust plugs.
  17. Well step one has been made. The Cross Delta fuselage Re-enforcement plates have been ordered from Sprue Brothers.
  18. Thanks Pete. The seat pitot probes, are they the little bat ears that stick out the side of the seat at head level? Still tempted by the BDU one if I can get the decals for it. Can you run me a list for that one too? And If its not too much to ask, 86-0263 from the other TwoBobs sheets. Keeping all my options open that way.
  19. No joy finding that decal sheet anywhere. Late to the party once again.
  20. Thanks. I’d only done a quick search on Hannants and that’s why I didn’t see it. For some reason I find the BDU one quite striking.
  21. Was hoping you would chime in. Not to take away from anybody else’s knowledge, appreciate all input. Using the decals that are available to me at this point in time, both TwoBobs sheets I’m looking at doing either 83-0159 in the Nellis Splinter Blue (Block 32 according to decals but F-16.net say Block 25) or 86-0263 in Eilson Splinter Black/White (Block 30). Don’t think anyone has done decals for the BDU style Splinter in our scale 86-0295 (Block 30). I think I need to shave the vent off the fuselage side, or not glue it in place, and shave some vents/inlets off the base of the vertical stabiliser. Let’s hope Jake does a sheet at some point or Bullseye upscale their excellent 1/48 offering. I think odds are long on both. Even longer on Tamiya San releasing an all in one boxing like they do in 1/48. I did have that kit and the Bullseye sheet but my big old sausage fingers didn’t like the teeny tiny parts.
