  1. I now have the email from Mark, and it certainly addressed my issues with the EagleCals sheet. Thanks a bunch, Mark, I really appreciate the assist.
  2. So, it now seems I'm back in business with this project as well. This is my first look (no pun intended) at the Eduard Look panels, and I must say that I highly approve, and will certainly be buying more.
  3. I just discovered I have a copy of this Schiffer book, which I have now added to the references database. It covers the bombs and markings in somewhat decent detail, but unfortunately still leaves a lot of unanswered questions, so I'll just keep digging.
  4. OK, some base color spritzed on the interior now. Detail painting to follow. Just for the sake of variety, the seat frame will be a slightly different (darker) green. The Aires bits are really nice, and add a certain serious look to the interior.
  5. I became aware of this kit a few weeks back, and just knew that I needed it. Decals are included for no less than twelve schemes, one of which is the scheme I’d already chosen to begin with. Kit also includes some nice PE and resin parts, and the tooling of the aircraft itself is outstanding. Not cheap, but worth every dime. (Paid for by selling off some of my other 1:48 kits.)
  6. I'll send a PM later, Mark, but mostly the color specs on the two-toned wing and fuselage stripes.
  7. It seems like Flightpath might have made some stuff, but I'm not sure.
  8. I appreciate that offer a bunch. Mark has offered some assistance as well, so hopefully I can get it sorted out.
  9. EC#138, yellow 2 Same answer as above. Any help you could offer would be great, Mark.
  10. Excellent photos. Thanks a bunch for posting those.
  11. I desire to see specific Me 262 photos that EagleCals specified on their decal sheet. Something about their color call outs seems a bit strange to me.
  12. What a disappointment; the one photo that I have that might have answered some of my questions about the bomb fin ring internal configuration, and they're all packed full of snow (plus the fact that it's a small image).
  13. If anyone has the Japo volume: Luftwaffe over Czech territory 1945 Part III, I'd really appreciate some clear scans of pages 121-124. Thanks a bunch, fellas.
  14. Tonight I decided to add the Aires sidewalls. I'll be away from home for a couple of days, but will paint the 'pit when I return. I loves me some airbrushing goodness.
  15. Time for some attention to the gun sight. Not really correct, but I’ve added a small disc to simulate the projector lens. Some flat black, followed with some light grey dry brushing and a spot of color for the lens, doctors it up OK. I don‘t believe the sight itself is really all that accurate, but certainly good enough for my needs. Projector lens was probably clear, but I decided to do ‘er up as clear green instead. The reflector glass itself:
  16. Cool project, but I'd be sitting out there by the lake myself. What a view.
  17. Mask set showed up today. Pretty much everything I need, except what I need the most (the IP), is arriving now.
  18. Ooh, Mustang goodness. Looks like this project is now on again.
