    Hello large scalers !
    Topic is not realy 100% scale model build but a interesting project.
    I got a Elite Force BBi 1:18 F-18C Hornet in rather good shape and would like to "rebuild" this to better quality and more realistic appearance.
    I can see, taking it apart, 3D-print new parts and scratch build some parts.
    Any one done this before ?
    Its a very expensive "toy" to buy, so before i tear it apart i would like see if there is any experience out there or in here.

    Common colors used on aerodrome structures appear to be the very similar to 81 Brown/Green, 82 Lt. Green on Luftwaffe aircraft with a different paint formulation, of course. I have a color photo of a building on a Luft airbase using close to those 3 shades.  Color is not perfect, but it gives one the idea.

    Luftwaffe hangar in northern Jylland / Denmark.

    This  type of hangar was common in occupied europe.
     
    Floors and foundation build by local contractors from german drawings.
     
    The building came prefabricated from factory in germany.

    Hi !
     
    Building a 1/32 scale Luftwaffe diorama with a large hanger.
    I'm about to paint the hanger but need some colour references.
    I can se in a lot of ww2 pictures the hangers and some service buildings är painted in camo patterns, but of course,  I can't se what colors.
    Some help to get color reference would be great !
    Any one got ideas ?

    My latest purchase.. Hasegawa 1/8 Sopwith Camel
