  1. Hello everyone, I'm sorry it's been such a long time since you've gotten an update on my build. I can't say even with all the time that's passed I've been able to get much more done. I did however decide to remove the indicators from the wingtips for when they're folded and repaint those areas. I've also remembered to add the pitot tube luckily while I was doing the touch up painting. Now I have to re-weather the wingtips and where there's new paint so it all matches again. For what it's worth here's where I'm at for now: I was tinkering with the idea of adding some green streaks to the spinner but as of now it's all silver. That's all for now, I hope to finish this one soon with the holidays coming I hopefully will have some time to get it done. Cheers, Brady
  2. Peter, I've got to say I wish I could build stuff from scratch like you've done with this Spitfire Peter! I need a couple simple custom things made for me want to make them for me? I don't know squat about resin. I wish I could be at Telford to see this in person with my own two eyes, but that's not going to be possible. Keep up the awesome work! Cheers, Brady
  3. Awesome work David and for a great cause! Cheers, Brady

  6. Absolutely Beautiful work Mark! I love it! You can never have too many Mustangs! Keep it coming. Brady
  7. No problem, I know what you mean. I just wish we Americans were as important as the Japanese are when it comes to getting an explanation as to what's going to be included that's new, and I didn't have to rely on Google translate for broken English. Brady
  8. Hello everyone, For what it's worth, I found that the translated version of HLJ tells a bit about what's going to be included in the new release as far as parts. Here's the translation: Limited Edition special specification new mold added 1/32 Zero Fighter 2nd. Former Japanese Tetsuzo Mr. Navy ace pilot Iwamoto fought until the end of the war from the first race will reproduce the 52-inch was boarding the Pacific War. <Additional plastic parts> 52-inch for the main wing cowling wing machine gun panel instrument panel sheet increased tank <decal> # 253 Naval Air Squadron TetsuzÃ… Iwamoto flight sergeant major power machine "53-104" (February 1944 Rabaul) # 253 Naval Air Squadron Iwamoto Tetsuzo flight sergeant major power machine "53-102" (January to February 1944 Rabaul) Here's the actual website: https://hlj.co.jp/product/HSG08245 Cheers, Brady
  9. I'd really like to see an A6M3 Model 32 with the squared off wingtips, so I can make one or maybe a few of the many Houkoku A6M3s that were model 32s. Is there really going to be a lot of difference between this new release and the Tamiya kit as far as what version of an A6M5 it is from what we know now? I'm just comparing Zero versions here not model companies quality. Brady
  10. Thanks guys for all the information. I was kinda guessing that it was probably the old kit with a few new parts and different decals. Now if we could just get Hasegawa to up-scale their 1/48 A6M3 and A6M7 to 1/32 that would be awesome. Cheers, Brady
  11. Hello everyone, Have any of you guys gotten to get your hands on or look at/ review the new Hasegawa kit #08244 the P-51D with resin Rocket Tubes? Is it the old sprues with a few new additional parts and new decals or is it different from their "Man O War" release with 1980's molds? I mainly just want a set of the decals they have in this kit to use on a Tamiya P-51 for "Little Indian". Thanks, Brady
  12. Thank you Kevin! I'm glad I can keep your interest and attention through this build. I like more out of the ordinary builds myself too when I can find them. Cheers, Brady
  13. Thank you Shaun! This has been a fun and challenging build. Cheers, Brady
  14. Beautiful work my friend! I love your end results! Brady
  15. Hello everyone, I've finished the weathering on this bird other than the cowling, which I need to find a color of wash that shows up on black paint to bring out the effects of the details. I was told a gray might look good but the last time I went the LHS didn't have the lighter gray in stock, and the dark gray, which I already have, just blends in with the black and isn't visible after it dries, so I may find myself buying a lighter gray online somewhere, because I'm not sure dark brown which I used on most of the rest of the bird will look good on the black cowling. I'm also debating if I want a streak or two of green still on the spinner or just leave it the way it is now. Anyway, here's what she looks like now that I'm done weathering the panel lines and rivets: A side view: From underneath with the weathered drop tank: That's where we are for now. Cheers, Brady
  16. Beautiful work thus far! Keep it up! Brady
  17. Hello everyone, I'm back with a little bit of progress in the weathering process and getting close to being done with it. I just have to finish the top of the left wing and I believe I'm done with the weathering. Here's what she looks like now: I hope to be done with this part very soon, it has seemed to take forever to weather this thing. Cheers, Brady
  18. Cool, I feel honored Kevin! Can you ask him if he knows the answer to my question about the indicators on the wingtips when their unfolded please. Can you see the red when their flush or are they the exterior color of the plane? I need to know if I can just trim them off and hit them with some red or if it's something that's going to be more complex, with repainting and reweathering being necessary. Brady
  19. Hey guys, I'm not finding the information I need on my last question about if I should cut the majority of the indicators for the folded wingtips off and still paint them red, or if I need to sand them flush repaint and reweather them as an exterior color. You guys can see what I'm talking about in my last post that contained pictures. As a quick update I've made some progress on weathering the left wing on the topside but not a lot, summer has kept me away from the bench quite a bit recently. Cheers, Brady
  20. Looking beautiful! I wish I could build a Mustang as fast as you and John...LOL Brady
  21. Wow Shadowmare! She looks beautiful so far, very awesome work so far! Looking forward to seeing more! Cheers, Brady
