  1. Thanks for your tutorial about the hairlak. Your work is absolut stunning. I am hooked. Rogiér
  2. Work has also contineud on the wheelbays in the past period. I am satisfied with the end result. Also made a start with squeezing the airintake. Did some fittings to put the front wheelbay in place. Put some paint in the frontbay And finnished the main wheelbay Used a little whash to made it look a little dirty. And put the airintake in place.
  3. Wow, this work looks amaizing. Keep up the work. I like your works on detail. Good luck with the progress, and keep the photo's comming. Rogiér
  4. The work on the ejectionseats are finished. When the seats are in the cockpit i will use some wirefor the final details. With a set of Eduard i have further enchanced the cockpit I made the buttons with some plastic card and a punch and die set.
  5. I'm going to follow your progress. I have a soft spot for the France delta's. Am very curious about your cockpit work. Good luck and happy modeling.
  6. You would almost think it is a bad buy. No bombs, no ASMP missile. A crappy cockpit and air intake. Bad fitting of the fuel tank. Or yoy have to think defferently. See it as a challange. Good luck. I have mine put on the stock. I wait for some aftermarket goodies.
  7. The exhaust is ready as well as the turkey feathers. In my spare parts box i found a closed resin nozzle and i will use this one. The inside of the burnercan. I also did some work on the crew. Both pilots are from the Academy kit.
  8. My latest project, the big F105G Wild Weasel. I use the Academy kit as the base for this project. i I will put these under the wing and the Pyhton missiles. And a little bit of Eduard photo stuff. I hope the images are seen now?
  9. I use the Academy F16I as a base. And of course we use a lot of extras. As an armament I will use the Delilah and the Python missile from Isracast. And a lot of stuff from Eduard.
  10. The large F105G is ready and in the cupboard. Now it is time for a new project. The F16I Sufa. Bring it on....
  11. I miss the French nuclear missile for the N version. That is very unfortunate. What is also not in the box are the pilot figures. In recent months you have seen photos on various forums with a pilot figure. So it is not in the box. I personally think this is a miss. Oh well, you must have something to wish for right?
  12. HpH I know for sure if you would release an F111 in a Lakenhead or an Upper Heyford version that sold 100 items. Within a very short time.
  13. Nice to see you back. I have also been a nice guy, Santa give me also a Mirage III. I love the desert sheme on this bird. So i go for the sand color. Happy modeling, Rogiér
  14. So here a small update from me about the research of my KC-135 project. First of all am i looking for more info about this plane. I have some books like the Superbase Mildenhall, and a special of Airforces monthly. I will also buy a walkaround book for more info. The contingency is that the image of the KC-135 on the cover is almost the same size of the 32 scale plane. I also bought a 1/72 kit. First for the measurements and naturally the line drawings. I also have a big decal set for many versions of the KC-135. I will bring some of these decals to a repro center for enlargment, so i can print these at home on decalpaper. I am still looking for a maintenance book. Also some good pictures of the instruments in the cockpit. I am planning to do a flying model, so i also need some good pictures of the MFD's. I like to do some electra in it ( the model is big enough} so the cockpit will be light up. Also the out side. This is it for know, greetings Rogiér
  15. Well that is a little the idea. I like the colors of the Mildenhall KC135's. I can put a Dutch F16 under the boom. But i need some good info first on the KC135. Start to buy a 1/72 kit and a walkaround book, some decals that i kan reproduce to the 32 scale. And lots, lots of stereen plastic and other stuff to make the body and the rest of the plane.
  16. Haha i live in a normal house. The first plan is to build a flying model, with a small bird at its boom. Yes it will be a large scale plane, but a B-17 or a B-29 even a Super Connie are large scale planes. So this would be not impossible. I like the build of the guy that build a C-17 and a Kc-10 in the 48 scale. Indeed with a good 1/72 kit as a base and some good blue-prints and some parts of a manual it can be done. I think.
  17. Dear fellow modellers. I like to take some research of scrapbuilding my self a Kc135. First i need good blueprints of this plane and second a maintenance manuel should be handy to have. Can some one here on this forum help me with this? With regards, Rogiér van den Berg
  18. Wow, looks realy amazing. Nice to see you back to work on your cat. I have missed you. Rogiér
  19. Looking forward to your build Ian. Have fun with this beast. Rogiér
  20. I was very bussy with my work, and i am a part time family man know. My new girlfriend has two daughters. Iam lucky that my girlfriend likes my hobby and that see give me time to spend on it. But sometimes time is hard to find. I will not quit this project, but sometime this kit is a real killer.
  21. That is a nice start. Good luck with your project. I will follow this build, because i have still one in the box. Gr Rogiér
  22. Oké here a small update from my workbench. Still working on my Wild Weasel. It's not a easy kit to work on. First the Blackbox cokpit was a pain in the *ss to put in the plane. After lots of sanding and dryfiting, testing again, and agian i thought is was oke to putt on the glue. Wrong. The body fitted almost perfect together but after checking again there was someting wrong up front in the cockpit area. After a little correction a sound of cracking plastic was heard and i saw a crack in the lower body. So filling and sanding again to get i right. I used a Quickboost fin to replace the to thick Trumpeter one. I also put on the to wings, with the Aires wheelbay's. The look very good, and fit pretty good. Work on the main gear started. First a picture of the real deal. The two legs on my workbench. So that is the update for know. Greetings Rogiér
