Howdy folks,

I'm pleased to announce that Karim's AEG build guide is now available! The full title is Building the Wingnut Wings AEG G.IV in 1/32 Scale, and costs $15 AUD from my website.

Karim shows you the building, painting, decalling, and weathering techniques he used to produce his stunning model, including how to produce paint masks to replicate the iconic nose markings.

The book also includes a 29-page tutorial on painting wood-grain effects on propellors, and a handy 12-page tutorial on the rigging techniques that Karim used on this model. In addition, there's a 12-page walkaround of the Mercedes D.IVa engine used on the AEG G.IV, and a bonus chapter featuring some period documentation on the engine.

Check out the product page using the link above for some sample images, or to purchase the book.

Ordered - download link?

Hi Ron,

Did you not receive the order confirmation email with the download link within it? Let me know if not (check your spam/junk folder), and I'll organise another one.

Now this is one I will be purchasing shortly.

Combination of a superb kit and an equally superb modeller - who can take wonderful WIP pictures - is very tempting indeed!

I don't normally buy modelling guides, but I'll make an exception for this one.

Book "in hand" on my computer.  Thanks for the quick resolution to the (still mysterious) glitch.  A quick scan of the book shows it to be a brilliant resource.  Time to dust off the AEG box and get building!

Thanks, Ron! Glad we were able to get your download issue sorted out.
