John1
Just came across a fascinating website that has documented a large number of aircraft wrecks in the UK. Very nicely done, some of the crash sites are quite poignant. Worth checking out. https://www.peakdistrictaircrashes.co.uk/ Trak-Tor and Kagemusha 1
Kagemusha
Thanks for posting John, not seen it before, I live on the edge of the Peak District, did visit the RB-29 crash site a few years ago, but it's going to come in useful in the future. John1
On a similar note, this website is worth perusing some morning over a cup of coffee or two. https://www.forcedlandingcollection.se/indexs.html A nice summary of aircraft that crashed or defected to Sweden during the war. Many shots of the crash sites then and today, also have some nice profiles of the aircraft. Anthony in NZ
