Joe Hegedus Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 FWIW, the BRU-57 is built from a standard straight VER (BRU-33/A), not a Canted VER (BRU-33A/A). I get a little confused on that point, I found the performance spec for the BRU-57 online at FAS and it mentioned just that... but it seems the unit is based around the BRU-33 Strongback spacer which is of the wider CVER type I think? Joe Hegedus Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 (edited) It may have the wider dimension via spacers, but the racks are oriented so the stores hang vertically like on the VER rather at an angle like the CVER. I don't know what the actual dimensions are offhand, but I saw racks undergoing conversion to the BRU-57 at the manufacturer a few years back in a previous job. They were using VERs as the basis, but I didnt' ask too many questions about that because it wasn't why I was there. I do think it's a bit easier to make the VER a bit wider, rather than making it wider and trying to get the angles to work out as well.
