Decals or masks?

I think the size varies depending on the aircraft they're painted on.

But Maketar does most of the german and / or british markings.

I want to make my own masks I mostly build fighters I tried Maketar masks but did't care for them so I desided to try and make my own.

Thanks

With regards to Luftwaffe the size varied according to the aircraft it was used on. I remember seeing a list, but cannot find it.

Once you know the size, this link should enable you to construct letters, balkenkreuz and swastika of correct proportions.

I have far less knowledge about the English and American standards, but I do have the standard of the various Star-and-Bar variants

Do you have a vinyl cutter and what software do you plan to use to do this. I've just gotten a cutter and plan to do some work on this - perhaps we can cooperate ?
