I'm just building a Nieuport 17 in 1/72 scale, using materials like wood, brass, copper, aluminium etc. I'll not cover it, I want leave it as an open frame work. More seriously, this is all VERY impressive !!! I have tryed the spoking thing on 1/35 motorcycles a while back when I was building armors and that was a millions miles away from what you are doing in 1/72 scale ! Do you have any other work you could show us too? The situation at the moment. I was not really satisfied with the wheels, so I made the work from beginning. No nylon spokes but in metal and rims in aluminium. The result it seems better to me. Both wings are almost completed, but work will still be long. Other my models? They are not planes.
