Rob Colvin
Is the CAM seat good for a late 104G/S? I thought I saw it mentioned that the seat was inaccurate. Thanks, Rob

Rob Colvin
Thanks, Dr. Frank Mitchell, at the hobby shop this weekend, had mentioned your resin was very good. BTW what would the CAm seat be fit for? Thanks, Rob
Harold
Thanks, Dr. Frank Mitchell, at the hobby shop this weekend, had mentioned your resin was very good. BTW what would the CAm seat be fit for? Thanks, Rob I actually did a search to find out what it was made for. I could find only one reference to the Q5 seat being used in a Belgium F-104. F16
Yes, the old and long OOP "TAC Scale Dynamics" -32014- and then "CAM" also OOP, despite labeled Mk-Q5 for LATE European F-104s are correct for F-104G/ late and F-104S Italians. The also OOP KMC -325004- had only C-2 seat for American and early European F-104. I really don't know where You could find one today and the best option is the AMS Set, By Harold. Take a look at : http://www.ejectionsite.com/frame_sg.htm Good Luck, and let Us see Your work. Mario
Rob Colvin
I actually have a Cam seat I picked up sometime back. I will most likely get the AMS seat, but it is nice to know I can use it for an Italian G/S. Thanks Rob
Dave Williams
The CAM/TAC Scale Dynamics seat is not correct for any F-104 that I know of, and certainly not for an Italian G or S. The CAM seat has a soft horseshoe shaped parapack in the upper part of the seat. Any MB seat I've ever seen in an F-104 has a hard shell parapack like this. http://www.ejectionsite.com/gq7a/gq7_front.jpg Harold
One-Oh-Four
I actually did a search to find out what it was made for. I could find only one reference to the Q5 seat being used in a Belgium F-104. The Belgians used the C-2 seat in their F-104's. As did the other European users. The only countries to use the MB were germany and Italy. And maybe Denmark, but I'm not sure about that.... The other countries used the C-2's. Greece & Turkey are a different story since the bought F-104's from almost all other European users... I haven't found a seat with that exact parapac shell. Harold
