ironman1945
Recent topic on LSP Discussion regarding the P-47 MX*E reminded me of this, my first build after approx 16 years of not touching a kit. School and the lack of a permanent residence (always seemed to be on the go every 6 months with the Navy) always seemed to get in the way. But finally in 96, being married 2 years, with a house and a hobby room, no more excuses. So here is my version of MX*E, the old Revell kit with very little in the way of modifications (shortened landing gear, dropped flaps, and a few additions to the cockpit). Brush painted with MM enamels. Has it really been 13 years? I have got to find a way to increase my rate of production. Dave/Ironman1945
LSP_Kevin
Good on you for having the courage to post an old build like that Dave. It still looks good too! It's nice to have older models like this around, as you can get a tangible sense of how much you've progressed over the years. As for your rate of production, well, I think we all share that problem.
