Revell 32 nd George.

Hi Chris,

You got me there...paint -chipping ??

You've seen my 32 nd collection some time ago on LSP ?

You may have noticed that I paint all my models 'factory-clean'.

To me it's not a matter of showing a model as it looked like in battle.

I want to present a model of that plane, not a historic replica.

That's olso why I sometimes don't add personal markings,only national' s

So,sorry to disapoint you Chris...but this will olso be a factory-clean George model

Well folks...she's finished !

Building this kit was a real plesure. No surprices or thing that went wrong.

I hope you like the end product.

It was never my intention to brag about my skills as a modeller.I know they are way lower than the 'superdetailers' here on LSP.

But this is how I do it from the box. Actually, the only thing about this model that is not from the box are the gun barrels. They are made from brass tubing.

Thanks for looking.

Thank you Erwin!

The lost molds at the bottom of the sea thank you too!

It is so nice to see one of these closet queens get built, you did a fine job, and your style is actually very refreshing. It leaves the lines of the plane to speak for themselves. Quite nice sir.

Cheers~

erwin, I was thinking of the value of this kit on e-bay :o , but am glad to see the kit complete and actually used for what it was intended, some thing that sometimes gets lost in the mix. nice job, very clean. i am saving mine for a Rex Conversion as I have this thing for float planes <_< . your pics really show off the size of the fat engine stuffed under the cowl. must have been a blast to fly.....

cheers mike in calif

I say "Cheers!" to any one who rises above the demands of daily life and finishes a model.

The build is part of the fun; the satisfaction of enjoying your own handiwork when the kit is done is the pay-off.

I don't own a model in a box that gives me as much pleasure as the finished ones on display.

Good job, Erwin.

Mike

Very Nice Erwin! Is that the old Revell kit? I have the Swallow kit. I don't think it has the underwing cannon gondolas. Does the Revell kit come with those or did you make them?

Great looking plane!

Hi Gary,

The Revell and Doyusha are two different types of the George.

Revell is the rare kit of the mid-wing George. And the Doyusha is the low-wing type.

The Revell kit has the cannon gondolas molded in the low wing part.
