Glad to hear your father is OK! Please pass on our regards/best wishes.

I received my special hobby F2A-2 in the post today, (got a good deal!!!) Plan to make it a 488 Squadron

RNZAF bird in Singapore WWII (best thing it's got pretty much all the parts mostly...to make it OOB.. (with few exceptions)) :P

My own Dad passed away before any of these planes came out 1/32 scale (he was a LSPer long before me)

so I will build it for him.

Look forward to seeing more of your build

Regards

Hey Steve.

Sorry to hear about your dad, hope he improves soon.

Sort of know where you're coming from, we've got my partners dad living with us. He's hard work sometimes but he's a hard case and I couldn't imagine him not here with us.

Wouldn't worry about the model too much Steve, you'll get it done eventually!

Oddly enough, I intend to do exactly the same thing as Alan with my F2 (When it shows up... it's got a long way to travel).

Anyway, good luck mate. See you back when you're ready.

Hi Steve,

Glad to hear your father is doing well!!

Your buffalo looks great! What markings did you end up putting on it, (they look suspiciously like Marine Corp buzz numbers/letters).

I agree with Loachnut (aka Jody) regarding your canopy, white glue will do just fine and if you make a mistake like getting it on the canopy, it will wash of with water and not mess up your canopy.

Great build :)
