Crikey what a cracking model, I haven't seen one in this scheme either. It is nice and unusual, the engine and cockpit work is also amazing. Fantastic job Chris

Hi Max Hope you are staying safe and are well fella. I saw you mentioned a Fury in your Tiggie thread so just had to check it out, love the look of the Fury what a beautiful machine which looks as though it's going fast standing still. Great start fella would love one of these, but just going to be happy with my Airfix and Lindberg kits in 48th scale. Chris

It does look lovely Max in the all over yellow. Great work fella. I am in two minds whether to get an ICM one or not as am waiting for the Special Hobby Whirlwind so poss won't otherwise may not be in SWMBO good books and I don't have enough brownie points to counter!!! Happy New Year to you and the other LSP'ers. Hope you can stay safe. Chris

Matchbox Tiger Moth RAAF Air Ambulance

Good to see some progress on this delightful model with the lower wings in place , rigging is fairly straightforward on these i used the not prototypical but greT Bob's Buckles eyelets on mine for strength along with invisible thread made it all fairly quick. Chris -
Yes I know what you mean and at this stage you dread having to keep picking up to add the final bits etc . I hope you didn't mind me suggesting that Max. Chris
-
Hi Max It does look very nice and it will be instantly recognised as a Tiggie as you said. Just thinking about itcould you use some invisible thread in the rigging that goes from top inner wing area to lower wing strut area and make it shorter, would that have the effect of pulling the outer lower wing up a bit and thus the top wing and give the dihedral. Sorry if spouting a load of tosh just wondered if that would work??? Chris
-
Cor blimey Max , it does look like you are having a bit of fun with that there Tiggie. It is a shame about the vague nature of the instructions and locating pins etc. Hope all is good when the rigging is done . Enjoy your glass or two of wine, you deserve it fella. Chris
-
No worries Max, Yes they were thick and painted they looked great off the model however when added i did not like them so measured and drew some out on clear plastic and cut them out and painted the frames, this made them look more of a scale thickness too. A lot of fiddly work!!! Yours does look fantastic, can't wait to see the rigging go on too. Really does bring them to life. Chris
-
Just caught right up now. Great work Max. Those windscreens look great too. Chris
-
Will have to carry on later , got some chores now , got to keep SWMBO happy and earn some brownie points . Just seen the Hunter in the backround and it looks gorgeous as does the tiggie with some paint on and the markings going on. Great work. Chris

Hi Max I don't know about tried and tested, you were my saviour on that model with all your lovely photos and invaluable info fella. Typical isn't it none for years and then three all at once, well almost. I must say I am not tempted to buy any. But will be very interested to see what the ICM release will be like, after the Gladiator. Keep up the good work Chris
-
Hi Max Sorry for my tardiness. I have caught up just over half way and looks great it looks a nice kit (it should be at the price). Great work as usual fella. I will catch up with the rest as soon as I can, just not enough hours in a day at the mo. Chris
-
Wow, what great work , your cockpit internals look ace so far. Chris
-
Oh Max it will be well worth the wait I assure you, it's gorgeous. Chris
-
Hi Max has it arrived yet? Mine arrived yesterday and I had a quick look and wow how gorgeous it is, very pleased. Thank you @LukGraph for producing this lovely model. Chris
